Happy Monday everybody!
I hope you all had a great weekend and this week has started off with a little bit of awesomeness happening to you.
Speaking of awesomeness, those Beaver Builder guys have been busy working on a whole bunch of new features for the Page Builder plugin. Now the new features are not quite ready for full public release just yet, so this week's video is a 20 minute overview of the goodies you're going to see in the next release of Beaver Builder.
First off, is the new Color Picker. As you can see, it's got a bit of a cleaner interface over the last version, but best of all, you can now save colors as presets to use again. Woohoo! No more copying and pasting hex color codes into the color picker! That's going to save you loads of time, especially when you pre-select all your colors at the start of a project.
Next up is Full Height Rows. As you can see in the image above, there's an extra option available in the Row Settings. When "Full Height" is selected, the row will now automatically expand in height to fill the browser window. No more fiddling around with the row padding to get it to fill the screen. This new feature is great for those big image welcome pages or other types of landing pages that require a full height image or background color.
The Column Settings have a whole bunch of new options. You can now Equalize the height of the columns in a row - useful when you have color or image backgrounds.
One of the other nifty new column features is the ability to Drag the columns to the width you want. There's also a handy "Reset Column Widths" option for those times you get a little over enthusiastic.
Next up is the new Font Option available in the Heading Module. You can choose to overide your theme H1-H6 font styles with a different font, including all the Google fonts. This is useful if you want one or two headings to look different from the rest, without the need to create a custom CSS Class or ID.
Last, but certainly not least, the guys have added a brand new module and you're going to love it! The new module is called the Animated Numbers Module.
This new module enables you to add some of those trendy counter graphics with three types available to you. You can choose to use just a number, a circle counter or a bar counter. There are lots of options for extra text before and after the numbers and you can also customize the colors of the bars, numbers and backgrounds. It's another awesome addition to Beaver Builder in my opinion.
The Beaver Builder Page Builder just seems to keep on getting better and better. This update just confirms that the Beaver Builder team are constantly working to make it better. That's a good thing when you invest in something so pivotal to your workflow.
If you want to try the new features, look for the Beta Link in your account area. I wouldn't put it on a live site just yet, but you can have some fun playing around with all the new things.
For information on this update, you can find Justin's post over on the Beaver Builder Blog.
That's it for this week. I hope you enjoyed the video.
Hope to see you again soon,
Colin
